MUD story

The struggle between InuYasha, and Naraku for the shards of the Shikon no Tama dragged on for quite a while. After a great deal of time, Naraku had managed to collect most of the shards. Though, both InuYasha and Naraku arrived at the final shard at the same time, and began a fierce battle over it. Naraku, in the end, claimed the shard, but before he could piece it together, Kagome fired a sacred arrow, piercing Naraku, and the shard descended down to her. More time was spent by Naraku planning to steal the last shikon shard. Finally, they all met within a dark forest. An intense and lengthy battle was fought, and Naraku was able to steal the shard. He combined the shards, and in a bright flash of cursed light, the Shikon no Tama was once more created. Though before it granted Naraku's greatest desire, InuYasha, with all his might, fired the Kaze no Kize, and directly hits Naraku while he was drawing on the powers of the Shikon no Tama. A powerful blast erupts from Naraku, and the miasma within him spread across the world...

Many years later, the last of the miasma finally dissipated, and youkai and human alike both emerged from their years of hiding. The world had completely changed, and InuYasha and Naraku had not been seen since the battle. The world adjusted to this new change, a new life style has begun. Friends of Inuyasha and the party went in search of them, though months of looking turned up with nothing.

Some time later, a village man discovered a tiny shining object in the grass. Picking it up, the man noticed it as a fragment of some jewel. Kaede instantly noticed it as a shard of the Shikon no Tama, but somehow, it didn't seem to be as powerful as it was prior to the incident.

InuYasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kiara, Naraku, Sesshomaru, Kagura, and Kanna are missing to this day. The legends of the heroes and villians remains. The Shikon no Tama has been shattered once more, but no one is sure how, or why the shards of the jewel have changed in the way they did.
