Started off a little odd. The end just confused me as hell. This guy is a tad off the deep end. Quote: [22:30] PaulosBlade: Hello.
[22:30] RebirthSephiroth: Hey. [22:30] PaulosBlade: I am Paulos Hunter Blade, reviver of Kamek Ultra Battle. [22:30] RebirthSephiroth: Yeah I know heh [22:31] PaulosBlade: Excuse my distuinquished way, but I've waited 5 years for any possibilities for Kub. [22:31] PaulosBlade: I just don't understand how Kub could not spout text to an AIM Chat. It's beyond easy, a programmer could bug it. I even did some things in my old KUB final like changed actual text that STRINGS did not. [22:31] PaulosBlade: I even have a TWIT LIST of people I hate on AIM on my notebook, since Kamek's idea of the TWIT LIST was good, I even used it myself. [22:31] RebirthSephiroth: Yeah heh [22:32] PaulosBlade: Alas poor Paulos here has yet to find any help with Kub. [22:32] PaulosBlade: And your story...? [22:32] RebirthSephiroth: I went from SMB to KUB to ChUB [22:32] RebirthSephiroth: And ChUB was my favorite [22:32] RebirthSephiroth: So I'm bringing it back [22:32] RebirthSephiroth: Non-AOL/AIM [22:32] PaulosBlade: I disliked Chub brutally due to it taking over Kub's legacy, except for there being a possibility of more characters to use [22:33] PaulosBlade: Nevertheless, if Kub will not work for AIM, and if Chub did I would be grateful. But honestly, what's the odds of Kub or Chub ever working on an AIM chat? [22:35] PaulosBlade: ...eh? [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: KUB or ChUB, hosting on AIM [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: 0% [22:35] PaulosBlade: WHY? [22:35] PaulosBlade: I'll do anything to make it work on AIM. [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: Because the source code is so much different [22:35] PaulosBlade: Source Code? [22:35] PaulosBlade: Can't it be CHANGEd or EDITED? [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: Not the AIM chat room source [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: But you can with KUB [22:35] PaulosBlade: Why not? [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: If you have the source [22:35] RebirthSephiroth: Because AIM isn't open souce [22:35] PaulosBlade: Uh [22:35] PaulosBlade: you just said "You can with Kub" [22:35] PaulosBlade: If you have the source [22:36] PaulosBlade: How do we get the "source' [22:36] RebirthSephiroth: The source for KUB [22:36] RebirthSephiroth: I don't know if it was released [22:36] PaulosBlade: How do we get it? [22:36] PaulosBlade: What is the SOURCE? [22:36] RebirthSephiroth: The actual code [22:36] PaulosBlade: What is the actual code? [22:36] RebirthSephiroth: It's what makes the program run [22:36] RebirthSephiroth: Aka programming [22:36] PaulosBlade: Precisely. [22:37] PaulosBlade: So you are saying there is no absolute possibility in the world that KUB can be hosted on AIM? [22:37] RebirthSephiroth: Nope. I've tried it, but I know it won't work [22:37] PaulosBlade: And same with CHUB? [22:37] RebirthSephiroth: Right [22:37] RebirthSephiroth: Since ChUB was built off KUB [22:37] PaulosBlade: *Sigh*... [22:38] PaulosBlade: You know I'll go to the grave wanting to do Kub/Chub on AIM. [22:38] PaulosBlade: There must be a way. [22:39] RebirthSephiroth: Not with AIM [22:39] RebirthSephiroth: Since KUB/ChUB checks if AOL is open [22:39] RebirthSephiroth: Not AIM [22:39] PaulosBlade: Can we disable KUB/CHub to check if AOL is open? [22:39] RebirthSephiroth: Nope. [22:39] RebirthSephiroth: Need the source for that [22:39] PaulosBlade: Let's get the source. [22:41] PaulosBlade: By the gods I'll do it if it kills me. [22:41] PaulosBlade: You don't seem to have the ambition or ideals that I have with KUB or even Chub. [22:41] PaulosBlade: However I appreciate your incredible information. [22:43] PaulosBlade: You there? [22:43] RebirthSephiroth: Yeah [22:43] PaulosBlade: Your concentration sucks. [22:44] PaulosBlade: Aren't you reading what I'm saying? [22:44] RebirthSephiroth: Yes, although I am busy [22:44] PaulosBlade: This involvement that even contains CHUB's possible legacy does not spark your eye? [22:44] PaulosBlade: You aren't as interested as I thought. [22:44] PaulosBlade: Good-bye. [22:44] PaulosBlade: Don't worry, I'll NEVER both you again. Farewell. |

He sounds like my friend Silverhawk... Except he had a platform to stand on. My friend made an entire MUD using mIRC scripts. It was completely origional and was very nice. I played it during its alphas, and it was really unstable however because of his computer. I haven't talked to him in a while, so I wouldn't know if he finished. But I do know he made it to beta and began running full open tests with players. |
