I know you're working on a new limb system right now, but I thought I'd throw you my idea for subraces to have traits with special limbs.
Bats would get wings, and with fly/float they would have the ability to avoid being tripped.
Arachnids would have more than 2 arms and could wield multiple weapons, while wearing double sets of arms/legs and hands/feet eq (Won't have too great an effect in beta when the armor is going to max at 400)
Reptiles should get an extra attack, tail attack, which they could use to whip opponents with (remember Saga?
)Amphibians would naturally have lungs and always have water breath to breath underwater, never drowning.
