Also be sure to seperate them all out. Ice and Water are not the same thing. Oh and in setting your suggestions for how to redo elements keep in mind that if for instance you set Fire strong against Wind that Wind cannot then be weak against Fire.

wind > earth
earth > light
Light > ice/water
ice/water > fire
fire > wind
that seems about right. i was considering adding holy and dark but eh.

We're talking about using the elements we have now. IY did not have a light element. Also remember ice/water are not the same.

Nah, I thought you meant "Light" was just light. Didn't realize it was lightning.

Also i had an area idea called the den of theives. which would harbor the demon ninja from inuyasha. and possibly the kin kon weapon

Yeah I've had that area on the list of things to create for a long time but honestly there are areas of much higher priority to get done and in before we touch that filler arc

Now are those the element strengths? What about the weaknesses? Remember that the elements cannot have a strength and weakness. (Example: earth cannot be weak against water and water strong against earth, because that creates a double disadvantage)

look over the table, every element has a weakness and strength

No that doesn't work. You have Lightning strong against Water, and Water weak against Lightning. I already said we can't have that.

currently as far as i have seen and experienced each element has 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses. 1 strength increase the damage you deal to the oppenent while the other reduces damage you take. and the weaknesses are vice versa in that you recieve more damage and deal less damage to those 2. and since i have only really tried with with one element (which i think its weaknesses seem fine, but what its strong against (dealing damage wise, since i have yet to see what it takes less damage from) seems a bit strange in my opinion but i do understand why it would do more damage to that element. i think the element system so far is nice. cause it lets you stratagize against your enemies. such as making sure your tank takes less damage vs. the mob or player you are fighting and other such things.
im trying to think of some other way to do the 2 strengths and weaknesses of elements, was trying to work on it in the middle of this post but it will take a while it seems lol.

It depends upon your perception of the setup when determining if its one or two weaknesses and strengths. But in general the way its setup is there is one table that is pure strengths and one that is pure weaknesses. So in a sense yes that creates two strengths and 2 weaknesses. If you don't understand why its setup this way just read Zeno and my posts above.

Then could you type out the element system so I don't misinterpret it? Example:
Lightning is weak against earth.
Lightning is strong against water.
