Some of these ideas were mentioned previously on the mud, but: It would be nice if pets respected their owner's autodispose and safedispose settings. Sometimes one's pet will kill something, and when it does, it may raid the corpse of yen. It would be nice if there was a simple way to order a pet to relinquish all the yen it's holding to its owner (either automatically upon killing, or at some future point). I know there is "order <pet> give X yen <owner>", but there's no way to determine how much money a pet has at any given point in time, so one is forced to make multiple small transactions. |

Is the Yen thing the only problem you have with pets? Or is this respecting the owner's config something else? |

Sorry, that was meant as two separate suggestions. I only suggested respecting the owner's autodispose / safedispose because it's kindof rude to leave corpses laying around everywhere, but it's tedious to manually dispose every one of them, and it's illegal to use a trigger to dispose of them. The yen issue is actually two things, and what I find most inconvenient (#1: if the pet kills, it takes all the yen; if you kill, it takes half the yen; #2: there's no way to determine how much yen your pet has, so you can't order it to give it all to you). |

I can think up a easy solution for sharing Yen with the pet. But not sure about the pet making the kill. If I have the pet respect the owners config, then most people have the autoyen config on. And they won't know when the pet deals the final blow. |
