Given how overly easy it is to obtain shards now and shard shatter wont be reintroduced how bout some tweaks to ranged sense.
-In newbie starter zones make the skill locked/useless after level 55ish to keep from highbies roaming through clearing the shards with little effort.
-in the mid ranged zones keep them free for all i suppose.
-Endgame zones? Kasai and future endeavors make ranged useless since the mobs are of level to block the presence of the shard.
most will probably hate me for this idea but gives way to spread the shards from a few high levels and ups reasons for pk
