To have an NPC based on your character's background make an official appearance on the MUD? How about items, artifacts relevant to your background and history, much like Salvation and Destruction are to Alexander? Well, I am now taking offers for ideas, and am willing to bring your roleplay background to life in order to bring more quests and variety to the game itself.

All you have to do is post here in response what you would like to see, and the idea will be considered. Here is a quick example:

I would like to see Alexander Leon as an NPC. He can be fought, and would like for him to chain off some sort of long, elaborate quest chain. I would like for him to drop the super cool and awesome mace "Poopsalot" and want him to require at least more than one person to conquer, generally.

Or an even better format to make a suggestion:

NPC: Alexander
Status: Fight-able, Pacifist
Reasons: Roleplay, Gameplay.
Items: Salvation and Destruction
Levels: 90 - 100
Additional notes: (Insert in detail whatever you have to say here.)

Odds are, depending on the NPC you make, that they'll be a 'rare spawn', much like the new Butcher in Sakuragawa is. Unless provided with much detail and reason, I also won't be making NPCs or Items that would otherwise be considered "powerful", so please consider your ideas before posting.

Will we be able to name the NPC and items?

p.s would it have to be "realistic" ? IE you cant have a level 100 NPC, if you yourself isn't 100? or something like that. Or can it be any level of power you want as llong as it's not overpowered?

Perhaps I should have clarified, though I thought it was obvious as I said nothing to that extent; I won't be creating NPCs of you, the players. Only characters (or items) you make up relevant to your Roleplay background. Yes, you will be allowed to name the NPC and/or items. I'll even let you all choose what area(s) you'd like to see these NPC and/or items in. And as far as "realism" and the rest is concerned... Try your best and apply common sense.

NPC: Mandolo
Status: Fight-able,
Reasons: Roleplay, Gameplay.
Items: Glass Bong
Levels: 80 - 100
Additional notes: Make him a Spirit/hollow type mob where reiatsu battles count though no Reiatsu gain will be rewarded to have it challenging. Around 30k reiatsu since last i remember people had 15k and such.
Area: Feudal Wanderer(random spawn)

I like the idea of being able to fight the Immortals. Maybe we could see Zeno and Hobson? I know a few people that would love to put Ryo out of his misery.

That would have to be entirely with their choice to allow that to happen. Beating up Ryo always sounds fun. ( <3 ya, Ryo, where ever you are. )

NPC: Irisfare, the Hand of Judgment.

Status: Fightable, Non-Killable(As in No death message like the Eradicator).

Reasons: Roleplay, Gameplay.

Roleplay: She is a "divine being" who lays judgement on those she passes by.

Once she sees you she will either say;

Good Alignment:
"Such a pure soul, let's test your faith!"
Note: She will then attack the player using a lot of Dark Missile to blind them (a pun on blinded faith.). Perhaps a say mid-combat like Oyakata. "Can you see the truth now!?". She is "killed" but yields no death message, implying she cannot die.

Neutral Alignment:
"Poor soul...you have not chosen a path yet. I pray that when we meet again you will have found your way"
Note: After saying that, she will disappear. (I don't know if a despawn is possible, but if not- she can just leave the room?)

Evil Alignment:
"Such darkness flowing all around you. You will repent for your sins!"
Note: Upon saying that she will immediately attack said player. She will use an attack like Cruelfang's, as in it's a weapon attack that uses Chi/Jakai.

Skill Name: Redemption's Judgement

Irisfare's sword glow brightly as she wields the power of the holy light.
Irisfare says 'Submit to the power of the light! '
Irisfare's uses Redemption's power to lash out at you.
Irisfare's Redemption's Judgement causes [ Damage ].


Message Upon Defeat: "But why? Where did I go wrong..."

Items:
1) Redemption - Sword that can heal or deal damage.

I hope this is possible but:

Upon picking up the sword, it will ask you "What path do you seek? Death or life?"
If you choose life, the sword will become a healing sword.
If you choose Death, the sword will become a damage dealing sword.
You cannot change your path.

Let me know if it's not possible, Alexander. I will think of something else then.

This is the rarest of all drops.


2) Robes of Divine Purpose - A healer's robe. (Cloth)
3) Garbs of Devout Retribution - Damage Dealer chest piece. (Leather)
4) Breastplate of Pure Aegis - Tank chest piece
If none of these drop, a book that gives wisdom only called "The Book of Trials" drops. Meant for people who have 700+ wisdom.

Appearance:
Hair: Blond, almost white.
Eyes: Bright blue
Skin: Pale
Built: Slim and tall.
Clothes: Wearing blue and white robes and wielding a sword.

Levels: 80-90. (Due to her nature, I feel she should only roam in high-level areas. Kasai, Panther Valley, maybe. )

Please, people, keep in mind, I created this post with the intention of bringing certain characters to life. Immortals cannot be considered in that category.

I can say, that while it needs to be redefined a bit for gameplay purposes, Kyokyo's idea is on the mark about how these posts should be. Content, examples and so on.

NPC: Shinji
Status: Fight-able, Pacifist.
Reasons: Roleplay, Gameplay.
Roleplay: The young brother of Ryuhiko. A quiet individual that cares for nothing you do as long as you don’t get in his way. He secretly searches for his brother to kill him. If chosen to fight he will unless the power of his youkai wolf bloodline, and use his lightwhip, fathers sword and armor to destroy everyone.

Items:
1) Kustsuu – A damage dealing sword.
2) Breastplate Yuugasa - Tank chest piece
3) Book of Chishiki – A book of knowledge that gives 1 intelligence every time read, and needs over 800 intelligence to read

Appearance:
Hair: Black
Eyes: Purple
Skin: Tan
Built: Slim and tall.
Clothes: Wearing red and black hakama, a breastplate, and wielding a sword.

Levels: 65-75. (wandering mob throughout all of feudal era)

The idea will be considered, however, the name "Shinji" will not be accepted. Please view our custom rules helpfile in relations as to why. Reasoning: Bleach Character named "Hirako Shinji."
